Member Spotlight

TXI Kelomor 1, is a new face here in TXI. He joined TXI in July 2010 and is already making an impact on his division, Xiled Kings, and the squad he runs. Kelomor is 17 years old and likes to spend alot of time with his friends, online and off. His nickname is Cookie Monster, because he loves cookies and never offers to share. He is an avid gamer, he is always online playing either MW2 or Halo 3, or you can catch him entertaining his friends in a XBL party. Kelomor is a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, he likes to party, swimming, doesn't like drama, not afraid to speak his mind, and could live off Hot Pockets, Cookies, Pizza Rolls, and video games. He is interested in pursuing a career in video game design. If you want to meet a great guy, and one who is full of entertainment and will never be bored, add TXI Kelomor 1 to your friends list.

HALO REACH Beta Testing
The TXI Gaming Network is setting up a recruiting campaign to introduce our community to Halo Reach players.

Campaign Overview:
Our very own, "TXI Ragz" among others on his team will be launching Halo Reach the day the beta is released. For the first week his team will be familiarizing themselves with the new game and just simply having fun with it. After the first week they will begin to start our marketing campaign by offering TXI membership to awesome gamers like yourself.

Below is a list of the new things TXI is doing on the Playstation 3:

1Acquiring a Rank Structure: TXI has constructed a rank structure for the playstation platform to better fit the console and its gamers

2Recruiting: Twist KaOs now has over 100 members and is still recruiting playstation gamers.

3Code of Conduct: The playstation console has also built a customized code of conduct to be more appropriate for its purpose.

4New Squad: Twisted KaOs has just opened its 3rd squad

5Clan Battles: The TK Division is challenging other small clans to claim the title, "King of the Couch"

6Building a Tournament: Twisted KaOs is working on establishing itself as a real division so that they may throw their very own tournament.

E3 2010

E3 2010: Our Most Anticipated Games

Find out what the IGN editors are most psyched to see at the big show.

E3 2010 is getting ready to rock the gaming world from June 14-17 at the L.A. Convention Center, and IGN will be there to bring it all to you. In just a matter of days, the world's biggest developers and publishers will be unveiling huge games and big surprises.

There will be thousands of games at the 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo, but the IGN editors have narrowed them down to a few choice morsels. This is not at all a comprehensive list of all the E3 offerings we're psyched about, but rather a healthy sampling of our most anticipated games.

Here is some insight from Editors:

I just want to see if Project Natal, or whatever the final name is going to be, can offer enough to make it a success. Will it work in real game environments? Will the launch lineup be enough to get the general 360 crowd excited? Or will it only appeal to moms and pops and go the route of so many other failed mid-life console peripherals? It's the big question mark looming over all of videogames right now, so it naturally is what has me most excited. Erik Brudvig, Xbox Executive Editor

I know, it sounds cheesy to be so excited about the third installment of a series that will probably provide as many surprises as a historical documentary. Still, that hasn't stopped me from getting my panties in a twist about Gears of War 3. Will this group of ruffians survive at the end of this supposed final chapter in the Gears story? No doubt that this question won't be answered at E3, but I can't wait to see the tip of the iceberg that Epic Games has planned. Oh man, so many games to choose from, and I have to pick just one? It's hard to pass over Civilization V, LittleBigPlanet 2, and a new Assassin's Creed, but if I had to choose the one game I'm most excited about, then I pick Portal 2. The original game is one of my favorites of all time, and I can't wait to see what new shenanigans GLaDOS has gotten up to in the centuries since we last saw her.
